At Townsend Family Dental we are continually keeping up to date with the Queensland Covid-19 regulations for dentistry, ensuring our practice is undertaking all necessary precautions for the safety of all our staff and patients.
At Townsend Family Dental we maintain high level Negative Pressure rooms, providing strong ceiling ventilation/suction to change the air in the room up to 30 times an hour resulting in a much safer environment for our patients and dental team, extracting all residual aerosols potentially containing harmful viruses. Combined with stringent PPE and cleaning protocols we can provide you with the safest environment to maintain your dental health in these stressful times.
Each patient prior to attended will be notified as a reminder to cancel if they are experiencing any cold or flu symptoms and on arrival will be required to hand sanitise, answer the covid screening questions. Anyone experiencing any symptoms, travelled within a 14 day period to current hot spot areas or have a temperature above 37.4 degrees will not be seen. Our rooms are cleaned thoroughly in between each patient with a Covid-19 approved solution. Patients also rinse with an antibacterial mouthwash at each appointment.
Townsend Family Dental takes PPE and Covid-19 precautions very seriously. We follow all ADAQ guidelines as well as introducing extra precautions to give patients the ultimate peace of mind in these stressful times.
