Born in Wales, Richard graduated from Sheffield University in the UK in 1995, thereafter receiving a scholarship at the prestigious Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden. He immigrated to Australia in 2001 and established his dental practice in February 2006. Committed to his practice and to the dental profession, he completes numerous hours of continuing education each year, staying at the forefront of new dental products and treatments. In 2010, Richard completed a Master Clinician Program in Implant Dentistry at University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry and is currently studying for a certificate in Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry through British Academy Restorative Dentistry. Richard’s focus and passion is directed towards placing implants and a variety of surgical treatments such as the extraction of wisdom teeth. When not at the practice, Richard spends quality time with his wife and three gorgeous teenagers, enjoying surfing, skiing, and the outdoor lifestyle.
Dr Ian Crump
BDSc (Qld)
Ian, (Crumpy), has had a long and varied career with his early dentistry in Western Queensland before moving to the Sunshine Coast in 2003. He has owned multiple large practices before venturing back out West in 2019. Ian is back in his beloved Noosa and is excited to see familiar faces.
Ian graduated from the University of Queensland in 1999. His passion still remains in good, old-fashioned general dentistry with prevention a focus. Ian understands that at times, life events can get in the way, and, our teeth become less of a priority. Ian will never be judgemental. He enjoys coming up with a joint plan with an achievable goal.
Outside of dentistry, Ian enjoys quiet times with his beloved wife Katrina and his old-girl Cavoodle, Shelby. You will often find Ian running silly long distances around Noosa, riding silly long distances in the Hinterland, or swimming silly long distances at Noosa Beach. Occasionally, doing all three together.
Mostly, Ian loves working with a group of wonderful people. That is what we have here.
Dr Mick Curtis
BSc (UNSW) B Dent (USYD) GDip Clin Dent (UNIMELB)
Dr Mick is a self-motivated and empathetic General Dentist with over ten years’ experience in dentistry and has post graduate qualifications in Dental Implants. He thrives in a team environment and has excellent communication skills.
Mick did a Bachelor of Science at ADFA and joined the Australian Navy for nigh on 20 years. He became a helicopter pilot and an engineering test pilot. He then completed a Bachelor of Dentistry in 2011 and joined the Army where he was a dentist, Senior Dental Officer and Clinical Training officer over a 10 year period.
In 2017 Mick completed a Post Graduate Diploma Clinical Dentistry (Implants), at the University of Melbourne. Since then he has focused on building a practice placing and restoring dental implants. He has completed over 200 cases.
He is a strong believer in professional development and is an active member of the International Team for Implantology (ITI). He recently attended the ITI Modern Implantology course at Harvard University in Boston, MD, USA.
Mick lives in Ashgrove with his partner and 3 (adult) children. He enjoys camping, sailing and craft beer
Dr Jerry Ahmed

Jerry is passionate about making a positive impact on people’s lives and helping them achieve better oral health. He loves all aspects of dentistry with a special interest in full-mouth rehabilitations, extractions, smile makeovers, and orthodontics.
Prior to venturing into the dental field, Jerry had a career in medical research. He earned his PhD from the Australian National University and then briefly worked as a cancer research scientist in the USA. Jerry’s passion to make a difference in their lives, combined with encouragement from his wife, motivated him to transition to dentistry and never look back.
Graduating from Griffith University with a Master of Dentistry, where he also received Awards for Academic Excellence. He frequently attends courses for continuing education and is an active member of the Australian Dental Association.
Jerry has worked in both public and private practices across Queensland. He is passionate about restoring and rebuilding teeth and helping people achieve their perfect smile. Jerry believes in practicing evidence-based dentistry and keeps up to date on the latest developments in the field to provide his patients with the best care possible.
Dr KHAled Jaber
MPharm, MDent
Dr Khaled is an associate dentist who has graduated with academic excellence in the Masters of Dentistry from Griffith University. However, his journey in health care began with a foundation in Pharmacy, having completed a Master of Pharmacy at the University of Sydney.
His dual expertise in dentistry and pharmacy allows him to adopt a holistic approach to patient care, considering not only the oral health but also the overall well-being of his patients. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry with a special interest in cosmetic and restorative procedures.
During his spare time, he enjoys going to the gym and spending time with family and friends.
Vivienne Cunningham
Dental Therapist/Dental Hygienist
Vivienne is a registered dental hygienist and therapist who works closely with our dentists to attend to our patient’s oral health and hygiene.
Vivienne has over 35 years’ experience. She has worked in general dental and specialist orthodontic practices, both privately and in government clinics.
Vivienne believes we never stop learning or improving and she enjoys working with the latest technology and invests in keeping up to date with the very best treatment options.
Vivienne has lived in the Noosa shire for over 22 years and enjoys the coastal lifestyle.
